The thyroid is the butterfly-shaped gland in front of the neck and just below the voicebox. I’m in my 60’s…closer to 70 really and am experiencing dry skin and some hair thinning…nothing too drastic but if I could grow it back I would..and now I am. The skin on the heels of my feet and elbows also aren’t as dry. I’ve been taking Spark plugs for months now and the results began soon after I started taking them. I ordered this product because I have long suspected slight hypothyroidism. I have presented with many signs over the past few years , such as loss of hair ( hair thinning ) , nails not growing like they used to , cold hands and feet for years , mood swings etc. My TSH two years ago was 1.9, which according to Dr. Mitchell indicates a strong probability of low thyroid. I am giving this product a 4 only because I have not had a chance to to have my TSH rechecked since beginning 2 months ago. When I do, and if there is an improvement , I would love to edit / update this review. I am also taking an iodine supplement along with trying to get Candida under control ( I highly suspected Candida overgrowth because of a simple spit test that I saw one ) I have been feeling so so much better. The biggest thing I have noticed is my mood is very even keeled and consistent. I seem to be handling things incredibly well. It may be due to the combination of things that I am doing to get my body balanced . But , based on Dr Mitchell’s information / research , along with other sources , which seem to be very consistent with Dr. Mitchell’s , I believe this product is helping to balance / heal my thyroid. My hair is growing back . My nails are super long and strong , my hands and feet seem to not be cold and like I said above my mood seems to be so great and I seem to be able to cope with my crazy amazing life with 4 kiddos , homeschooling , and directing our homeschool group. So much better. I also have a friend that was not able to get herself out of being tired and run down. From what she told me the only thing she changed was talking this product . I’ve had thyroid issues since I was 27 years old, I’m 50. My doctor has been doing his best to make me sick. He wasn’t satisfied with 1.3 he wants it Higher and he is making me sick in the meantime. Bloated, losing tons of hair, eyebrows falling out, hot flashes from hell, not staying asleep and waking up at 3 am, no appetite, fatigued, joints hurts, headaches, failing eyesight and the list goes on and on. Dear Dr. Fitt…I recently bought the OMG Spark Plug 125 and felt better almost shortly after beginning it. Initially I thought it may be a placebo, but I have been on an Armour medication for a year and never felt anything at all. The best thyroid supplementation we have tried over decades. While I no longer use this as my health has improved dramatically my husband still uses it. I used Ecothyroid (now OMG Sparkplug) for about 8 years, my husband for about 5 years & still using it. Much better than the synthetic thyroid which didn’t work at all for us, and better than other natural thyroids which we tried at great expense.

I was diagnosed with hyperthyroid in 1987 and was put on beta blockers which didn’t work so I unfortunately did the radioactive iodine treatment which completely destroyed my thyroid gland. I was put on Synthroid for 20 years and my health was in a steady decline. I found a new naturaphic dr who switched me to a natural thyroid supplement that worked better however I still didn’t feel great. I eventually found Eco thyroid which had both T3 and T4 which has finally gotten me balanced even with such a high dose of .375.

I have experienced benefits from taking this product. Most notably, the bald spot on the top of my head is now covered with some hair. Slowly, my hair is regrowing. I am no longer experiencing cold in my hands and feet and overall coldness on a regular basis. My skin is less dry (even though it is now winter). I strongly recommend using this and jumpstart your fatigued thyroid!

in 2014 I began to loose all of my body hair, I had taken prescription synthroid and levithyroxin since 1982 I had gained 50 lbs and had heart palpatations, constipation, terrible stomach cramps so bad I would cry, dry skin and felt tired all the time and felt like I couldn’t think and got to forgetting things. I finally quit taking the prescription meds, then I heard about this Eco Thyro 125. I started taking it in september 2015 and within 2 months my hair all over my body was growing back. Went to Amy Dunn in Amarillo with the hopes of getting my thyroid problem under control. That was in April or May. Been on this product ever since. She didn’t do blood work when she prescribed 2 pills a day. Went to my primary care as I was really sick found out today the blood work shows T4 and T3 levels extremely high. My blood sugar was 97 and this blood test shows 135 now I have to stop meds to get my T4 & T3 down and am on a strict diet for the next three weeks hoping to reverse the sugar levels. Not happy and wish I had got my results before I ordered two more bottles last week.

My grandmother was on synthroid for well over 40 yrs of her life and developed dementia. My grandmother was on synthroid for well over 40 yrs of her life and developed dementia. Since I have the same issues, I wanted to supplement differently and I believe that Ecothyro 125 has been a huge blessing. My body did not do well with this product. I also discovered that I am allergic to Porcine. Since I have been taking Eco Thyro my body has slowly yet increasingly improved.
